Welcome to Peñasco Independent School District

Nestled in the heart of the Sangre de Cristo mountains of northern New Mexico, Peñasco Independent School District (PISD) serves over 450 students at Peñasco Elementary, Middle, and High Schools. The District goals for 2011-12 School Year include:

Increasing all students academic and social/emotional skills
Providing a safe and consistent environment for learning
Creating and maintaining a welcoming and inviting environment
for students, parents, families, and community members.
